Cards Made From Scraps

Hello my blogging friends. Hope all is well with you. I am doing fine, thanks for asking, LOL. I've packed away most of my cardmaking stuff but would like to share with you some cards I'd using just bits of scraps. I thought they were effective but what so you think. Don't be shy, please let me know :o) These cards are fairly generic. Not all women are into florals.

These cards were made earlier in my cardmaking 'career'.

I'm convinced I was more creative when I had less supplies. Go figure :o) Right, off I go to see what all you clever bloggers are up to. Thanks for stopping by and please return soon. Big hugs.

My Look Blog

Hi there. I am still alive :o) Like my new look? Just taking a little break from cardmaking, enjoying the 'summer', and getting things ready for the move. Renovations are still being done in the other property, but hopefully it will be finished by the end of this month.
I've been busy collecting a few stuff for the move which you can see at http://sweptandgarnished.blogspot.com/.
Thank you for leaving such lovely comments on my cards, I appreciate every one, and thank you for visiting too. I will be making some cards soon to post :o)
Have a great day. God bless.

Stamped Cards

Hi there. Hope you are all enjoying summer. I know I am :o) Well, today I made several cards and have posted just a couple to share with you. These stamps by Le Blanch are great. I'd decided to keep them simple as they can stand out on their own. The question now is, which one is more effective: with a touch of bling and silver butterfly?

or without?

As you can see nothing was added to this card.
Does it need anything? Maybe some glitter on
the roses?
Well, thank you for visiting and leaving your comments. I promise to reply to all :o) Take care. Hugs

Sunday's Offering

Hi there. Happy Sunday. I hope all your fathers day celebrations went/going well. The past week went so quickly but it was also a good one, thank the Lord. Not much time spent on cardmaking as I am busy getting things together for the move. Here's a card I made using a stamped image. Cute isn't it? The papers were from a stack but forgot which one. I used a flower punch and a dimensional sentiment sticker. As you'll notice, my colouring skills are not quite there yet, lol. I really should practice more :o) Thank you for stopping by, have a great day, wherever you are. Be blessed.

Fun Stuff

Hi there. What a day it's been, the sun was playing peek-a-boo behind the clouds. Then that downpour. I tell you, I was so glad that I made it home before it started. Here's a simple card. I stamped the words, which is rare for me, I know, some flowers and a brad.

Today I went out looking for bargains for my new home. I made a few purchases but shrewdy kept an eye on my pennies :o) Once I've done some work on them I will post them on here for you to see. I will need a kitchen table and chairs which wil be my biggest pieces. These table mat and coasters were from BHS (British Home Stores). Their stuff is very similar to Laura Ashley's.

I promise you that the birdhouse is not cover in dust from my attic, it's brand new and made to look old. I thought it was cute but now I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it. Maybe I could make my own 'welcome' sign. Now there's a thought :o)
Thanks you so much for stopping by, please do so again.
Have a great day, wherever you are.

New Home

Hello there. Happy Tuesday! How have you been? I've been just fine. I'm a bit excited as I might be moving out soon into a sweet little flat. There are several reasons for this move: due to my mobility problems I don't get along with stairs anymore, (falling down them really hurts!), including the fact that I can no longer do gardening.

So, I am looking forward to redecorating it. Anyone else loves shabby chic? That look is so me; I'm not much into furniture that looks like it's been left out in the rain for years, lol, you know what I mean, rusty and chipped, neither can I affort the really beautiful French look :o(
However, as you can see, I've been shopping. This is distined for my bathroom. I found it in TKMaxx and couldn't resist it. now that's a great place for lovely bargains. What do you think :o) I wont be changing every thing, naturally, just making a few long-overdo updating. Have more to share with you so watch this space and please indulge me :o)

Hugs...
